Customer Insights – Data

Select the signals that change a decision.

Start with a commercial question: which customers have stopped buying, or which accounts need a review? Identify the purchase history, dates and profile attributes needed to answer it. Broader identity architecture and cross-system ownership belong in our Customer 360 work.

Segments & customer measures

Make “high value” a definition people can use.

Turn informal labels into explicit criteria: the purchase period, included transactions, exclusions and refresh expectations. Document who belongs in an audience and why before passing it to another application. Journey timing and message design stay with the marketing team.

Customer Insights – Data · customer profile

Read the story behind the segment.

Inspect a customer’s combined attributes alongside configured activities and customer-level measures. This profile view helps the team check whether an audience reflects the customer history they expect. Nemely validates sample profiles with the people who understand those relationships.

How Nemely helps

Start with a question worth answering.

Nemely connects commercial priorities to the customer-data design. We define the first use case, test the profile and audience logic, and agree where the insight should be used.

CRM Strategy and RoadmapCRM ImplementationUser Adoption

Choose a focused use case

Identify the customer question and the people who will act on the answer. Select the sources and attributes needed for that first use case.

Test the customer picture

Review identity matching, data quality and profile usefulness. Check false matches and missing context with the people who know the customer records.

Put the insight into use

Agree how the audience or measure reaches the intended journey or workflow. Set ownership, refresh expectations and a practical way to review whether the output helps.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

How is this different from Customer 360?

This service focuses on commercial profiles, customer measures and audience definitions in Customer Insights – Data. Customer 360 addresses the wider foundation for shared identity, relationships and access across your organisation. We scope that foundation separately when the use case needs it.

Do we need to connect every source first?

No. Start with the sources required to answer one important question. Expand when the first use case has an owner and a measurable purpose.

Will AI automatically predict customer behaviour?

Model usefulness depends on the scenario and available data. We assess suitability, test the output and agree how people should use it rather than promising accurate predictions in every case.

How could we identify customers due for an account review?

Illustrative example: select customers whose usual purchase pattern has changed over an agreed period. Exclude recently closed accounts, review sample profiles with account owners and decide which customers merit personal attention. This is a segment design to validate, not a prediction of churn.

How do we know an audience definition is useful?

Test who was included, who was excluded and which source values drove that result. Record when the audience was refreshed, reconcile unexpected membership changes and ask the receiving team whether the selection supports its decision.

What affects the cost and timing of a customer-insights project?

Source access, matching needs, the measures and segments to define, and the systems that will use them shape the work. We agree one commercial question, its owner and validation criteria first. The proposal separates required subscriptions and capacity from data preparation, configuration and connected journeys.
