Data Migration

Bring the data you need into your new CRM.

We help you move data into Microsoft Dynamics 365, from deciding what to keep and cleaning it up to testing the result and planning the final move.

Replacing a CRM or bringing data together?

We start with where your data lives, who uses it and what your teams need in the new system.

What’s included

Make the move with a clear plan.

Plan the final move

Agree when the move happens, how it is checked and what to do if the plan needs to change.

  • Timing, data freeze and system dependencies
  • Contingency and rollback decisions
  • Production checks and ongoing data ownership

We agree what will move, how it will be checked and who accepts the result. Your responsible teams confirm the security, privacy and retention requirements.

How we work

From the data you have to the data you need.

  1. 01

    Agree what to move

Review sources and data quality, then agree the scope, owners and what to archive or leave behind.

  2. 02

    Prepare the data

Map records to the new CRM, agree cleanup rules and build repeatable migration steps.

  3. 03

    Rehearse and check

Run trial migrations, measure timing and check records and relationships with business owners.

  4. 04

    Move and hand over

Follow the agreed plan, check the production data, record acceptance and transfer ongoing ownership.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

A few practical answers before we talk about your project.

Which systems and types of data can you migrate?

Sources can include earlier Dynamics versions, Salesforce, other CRM systems, databases and spreadsheets. We assess access, structure and quality before confirming the approach. Attachments, activities and relationships may also be included after checking their formats, volumes, dependencies and support in the new CRM. Agreed items are included in migration checks and business validation.

Should we move all our historical data?

Not automatically. We work with your business and data owners to decide which history supports daily work, reporting and service, and what to archive or leave behind. Your responsible teams confirm any retention requirements.

How do you clean up and validate the data?

Nemely can assess quality, define cleanup rules and automate suitable changes. Your data owners confirm correct values and accept the result. We agree responsibilities and acceptance criteria, then check record and relationship counts, exceptions and samples, with business users validating the data in real processes before the final move.

Will migration require downtime?

That depends on the source systems, data volumes, system limits and how much information changes during the move. Trial migrations help us estimate the time needed. We agree any period when updates must stop, the final migration window and contingency options with you.

How do you handle sensitive or personal data?

We plan access, transfer protection and the environments used for the migration with your responsible teams. They confirm the security, privacy and retention requirements, and who owns each decision.

What affects the cost and timing?

The number of sources, data quality and volumes, mapping complexity, attachments, access limits and time needed from your data owners all affect the work. We review these with you before agreeing the scope, rehearsals and delivery plan.
