Industries

Know what is installed, agreed and due next.

A serial number is only part of the story. Your team also needs the customer, location, coverage and service history. Nemely helps connect those records so an asset question can lead to an informed service or renewal decision.

The relationship continues after delivery.

Build a useful record of the installed asset, keep track of changes and connect it with the commitments your team needs to fulfil.

Nemely Product Lifecycle Management

See the equipment in its customer context.

Nemely Product Lifecycle Management extends Dynamics 365 CRM with customer assets, properties, related contracts and lifecycle events. The published product example brings asset detail and contract coverage together. We help you decide which information service and account teams need to share.

  • Choose the asset identifiers that people can reliably find.
  • Connect coverage records to the equipment they concern.
  • Give important lifecycle events an owner and a next action.

Keeping the record useful

Capture the change while it is still clear.

Equipment moves, components change and ownership can transfer. A useful asset register has a way to record those events during everyday work. We identify where the information first becomes available and make the update part of that handover, with checks for missing or conflicting identifiers.

Dynamics 365 Field Service

Find the right asset in the right place.

Field Service functional locations organise a customer site into places such as buildings, floors and rooms, with assets linked into that structure. For a service team, this helps distinguish identical equipment at different locations and gives the work order a more precise destination.

From coverage to scheduled work

Turn the agreement into a maintained commitment.

Field Service agreements can generate recurring work orders and invoices from configured schedules. We help translate the operational commitment into the right setup and ownership. Renewal conversations need a separate, visible action: who reviews coverage, when the customer is contacted and how the next agreement is confirmed.

How Nemely helps

Build from the installed base you actually have.

A representative set of assets and agreements reveals the naming, ownership and coverage issues that a clean demonstration can miss.

Pre-Study and Business CaseSystem IntegrationProcess Design

Review the register and identifiers

Inspect a sample across customers, sites and asset types. Agree how duplicates, unknown locations and incomplete coverage will be resolved.

Configure the useful relationships

Connect the customer, asset, location and relevant agreement information. Define integrations and ownership at each boundary.

Rehearse service and renewal events

Test an installation, a moved asset, a scheduled visit and an approaching renewal. Confirm that the responsible team receives enough context to act.

Product lifecycle records and field execution serve different jobs

Nemely Product Lifecycle Management focuses on customer assets and their associated lifecycle and contract information. Dynamics 365 Field Service supports service execution. They are separate applications: the scope determines whether you need one, the other or a connection between them.

Separate commercial terms from operational scheduling

A legal agreement document, a coverage record and a recurring work-order schedule are related but different records. Agree which system owns each, who maintains it and how changes flow through. Recurrence settings should not be treated as proof that the commercial terms are correct.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

Is this product lifecycle management for manufacturing design?

This page focuses on Nemely’s customer-asset and contract application for Dynamics 365 CRM. It concerns the installed base and its commercial and service relationships. Engineering product design, bills of materials and manufacturing change control require a separate assessment.

Can we import assets from spreadsheets or an ERP?

Usually this is a practical starting point, subject to the source data and available interfaces. We map identifiers, customers, locations and coverage, then test a sample import and reconciliation before transferring the wider register.

Does every contract need a Field Service agreement?

No. A Field Service agreement is useful when the service commitment should drive recurring operational work or invoicing. Other contracts may only need a maintained coverage record and renewal process. We choose the representation that fits the commitment.

What affects the cost and timing of an asset-management rollout?

Asset categories, record quality, agreement rules, document requirements and connections to other systems determine the scope. We agree a first workflow and the records it needs, then plan migration, configuration, testing and user preparation. Product and platform subscriptions are reviewed separately from implementation effort.

What should we prepare before discussing the solution?

Bring a representative asset record, an agreement and an example of a handover that is difficult today. Explain who maintains each record and which systems they use. Remove sensitive information from examples until an appropriate way to share it has been agreed.
