Keep the client and the work connected.

Professional relationships carry history, documents and commitments. Nemely helps legal and advisory teams organise that context around the client and engagement, with specialist workflows where the practice needs them.

A few organizations we've worked with

Follow the engagement beyond the first conversation.

A practice needs to know how a client was accepted, where the engagement stands and who owns the next action. We shape the application around those questions.

Before work begins

Make acceptance a considered handover.

An enquiry becomes an engagement only when the right information and decisions are in place. We help you define the intake record, the firm’s required checks and the person authorised to accept the work. Specialist review and compliance services can remain part of that journey.

  • Capture the client and proposed engagement once.
  • Make incomplete information and pending reviews visible.
  • Hand the accepted scope to the responsible engagement team.

Documents & delivery

Keep the context when colleagues join the work.

When another specialist joins an engagement, they need the agreed scope, relevant documents and current responsibilities. We design the connection between the practice application, Teams and SharePoint, including document ownership and access. The aim is a clear route to the material that belongs to this engagement.

How Nemely helps

Define the client and engagement records, role access and required connections. Walk through intake, collaboration and time handling with realistic examples.

Introduce the working routines

Train teams around their responsibilities. Review early engagements and refine the forms, guidance and support route where users encounter friction.

Planning notes

Make the application fit the practice

Legal firms and other professional services have different needs

Legal Practice Management offers a specialist route for legal work. Consulting, advisory and other project-based firms may be better served by Project Operations with tailored client and engagement records. We compare the actual workflow before choosing the application.

Time, billing and financial handovers

Decide how time is captured, reviewed and approved, and which system owns rates, invoices and payment information. Rehearse corrections and rejected entries. The financial design should reflect the chosen product setup and your existing accounting arrangements.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

Does the application automatically make our firm compliant?

No. Your firm remains responsible for defining its obligations, checks and professional decisions. We can configure workflows and connect specialist services to support that process, with clear review and approval responsibilities.

Can we restrict access to particular client work?

Access requirements should be part of the design from the start. We map who may see the relevant client records, engagement information and documents, then test the application and connected document environment with representative user roles.

Can an existing practice system remain in place?

Yes, where that is the right fit. We assess which information should be shared with CRM and collaboration tools, which system owns it and whether the existing platform supports the required integration. A phased transition can focus on a specific gap first.

What affects the cost and timing of a practice-system project?

The client and engagement processes, access restrictions, document handling, historical data and financial connections shape the scope. We agree a priority workflow and its owners first. Product subscriptions, configuration, integrations and migration are then assessed against that workflow.

Who should join the initial conversation?

Include someone responsible for client work, a person familiar with administration and the owner of the current systems. Bring a typical enquiry-to-engagement example and the points where information is re-entered or difficult to find. Use anonymised examples until secure sharing has been agreed.
